We were lucky enough to have ideal weather this past weekend for this year’s Cobstock Festival, much to the delight of guests, staff and the event organisers.

Last Friday Cobnor Activities Centre held a launch event to present its new residential and educational facilities to teachers and youth leaders from local organisations.
The major £1million building and refurbishment project has not only seen two fully refurbished residential buildings and a brand new state- of-the-art building but also a large classroom, equipped with the latest data communications.

The guys and girls at Cobnor Activities Centre have had a pleasantly busy last couple of months which have propelled them straight into the new outdoor education season, starting evening sessions and running courses as well as getting ready to launch the new residential building to the public.

The re-launch of Cobnor Activities Centre is drawing ever closer following major building and refurbishment work costing almost £1million.
Building work started in October and will see Cobnor Activities Centre transformed, with two fully refurbished residential buildings capable of taking up to 58 people. This past weekend saw us leap towards British Summer Time with the clocks going forward. Spring and summer are always an important time for Cobnor Activities Centre with the year’s outdoor education courses starting again and after training hard through the gloomy winter months the staff are now ready to spring back into action…
