This past weekend saw us leap towards British Summer Time with the clocks going forward. Spring and summer are always an important time for Cobnor Activities Centre with the year’s outdoor education courses starting again and after training hard through the gloomy winter months the staff are now ready to spring back into action…

As well as all the water-based activities, such as sailing, kayaking and powerboating, Cobnor Activities Centre offers excellent land-based activities, such as orienteering and mountain biking, and we’re chuffed to bits that one of our favourite local spots is to become a National Park this summer.

On Saturday 30th May, 2009, I attended an excellent local festival and had a brilliant time, to say the very least. Cobstock, held at Cobnor Activities Centre, near Chichester, West Sussex, was a charity event that helped to raise money for the Centre and was kindly arranged by two locals (including mum of the Centre’s own Robin and Lois O’Connel).
