Last night the Cobnor Activities Centre staff celebrated another great year of outdoor activities with their annual Christmas doo at The Old House at Home, Chidham.
Seasonal cheer filled the fine country establishment and characters from Father Christmas and his wife to a Christmas pudding and Jesus Christ himself (and that was just the Murray-Browns) joined in the festivities. Appearances were also made by a wise(ish) man, some terribly attractive…

Starting with sailing in September and now moving on to night walking and orienteering in preparation for the Charlton Chase, Cobnor Activities Centre is running staff training throughout the winter. As well as all the water-based activities, such as sailing, kayaking and powerboating, Cobnor Activities Centre offers excellent land-based activities, such as orienteering and mountain biking, and we’re chuffed to bits that one of our favourite local spots is to become a National Park this summer.
It’s been decided that the South Downs will gain National Park status, which is great news seeing as it’s such a beautiful place to…
