Swiss Gardens Primary School has a Wonderful Time at Cobnor

Cobnor Activities Centre recently had a visit from the children of Swiss Gardens Primary School, Shoreham-by-Sea. They stayed at Cobnor’s residential facilities and took part in a whole range of outdoor activities.

Twenty three pupils visited Cobnor Monday to Wednesday. On their first day they did some problem solving, Pico sailing and canoeing. Day two involved a day sail around Chichester Harbour, where the children gained more of an opportunity…

Goodwood Area Schools visit Cobnor Activities Centre

This week Cobnor Activities Centre received a visit from Goodwood Area Schools pupils who enjoyed taking part in a bit of outdoor education.

The Goodwood Area Schools (GAS) initiative is part of the able pupil programme. Cobnor Activities Centre Achieves the Learning Outside the Classroom Badge

The Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) quality badge for adventurous activities provides for the first time a national accreditation combining the essential elements of provision – learning and safety – into one easily recognisable and trusted quality badge.

Cobnor Activities Centre opens new building doors to local youth organisations

Last Friday Cobnor Activities Centre held a launch event to present its new residential and educational facilities to teachers and youth leaders from local organisations.

Cobnor Activities Centre’s chuffed with South Downs National Park
