Booking is quick and easy
You will have direct responsibility for overseeing maintenance across all areas of the Trust. This will include completing the mandatory monitoring and checking of our water temperatures and fire checks, the regular maintenance of all our activity equipment, our buildings and vehicles. You will liaise with external contractors for the mandatory servicing of our gas, water, solar, oil and fire systems. You will coordinate both staff and volunteers to assist in the maintaining of the building and activities where needed.
With an ability to act on your own initiative, you will resolve problems as they arise whether directly, or by assembling staff and volunteers, as required for the task.
To succeed in this role, you should have some experience in safety checking and record keeping and be skilled with various hand and power tools. To have a 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to innovate, problem solve and create new activities to support the Trust. Full training will be available regarding the checking and monitoring of the safety systems.
Additional hours can be available for candidates with additional outdoor qualifications and experience.
