Casual Activities Instructors  

We recruit a number of casual staff to join our team, from sailors to climbers to paddlers, and those wishing to start out in the industry with no formal qualifications. All candidates require enthusiasm, professionalism and a can-do attitude, whilst able to complete all the Trust's recruitment requirements to include an enhanced police (DBS) check.  

Pay is based on a minimum of 4-hour shifts and maximum of a 8-hour day (excluding breaks) and depends on qualifications and experience.  

We offer further training opportunities and the chance to be part of a team that strives to be the best in the industry, as well as the opportunity to work in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  

DATES FOR THE DIARY: We will be holding a Staff Activities Training course over 3 days during the Easter holidays (0930 to 1600 on the 4th to 6th April 2023) and lunch will be provided.  This is an opportunity for those that hold no formal qualifications to receive free training. During course you will be trained to deliver our site-specific activities, to include low ropes, problem solving, Aeroball and Orienteering. So why not come along and see how we work?

All candidates will be required to have their own up-to-date Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) with enrolment of the update service before commencing work. CACT will be able to supply DBS checks on your behalf and at your expense if you do not have this pre-requisite.
