With a longstanding residential and expedition license for the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, our fully qualified instructors ensure safety and fun under our Approved Activity Provider license. Situated in the heart of Chichester Harbour, one of 46 National Landscapes, Cobnor offers year-round land and water-based activities, making it an ideal venue for Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programmes and expeditions.

Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Providing Bronze and Silver expeditions, Sailing or Canoeing around Chichester Harbour an area of outstanding natural beauty and scientific interest in which to enjoy their D of E expedition, with plenty of options for which to give your expedition a good aim. Walking options also available in multiple locations throughout Hampshire and West Sussex. If the team chose to canoe or sail, they would be coached before the expeditions, to an appropriate skill level in the mode of transport they would be using.

All Kit provided, including tents, roll mats, rucksacks/dry bags and barrels and cooking equipment.

Bronze Award would include expedition training, craft specific coaching days and a qualifying expedition.

Silver Award would include expedition training, practice expedition, craft specific coaching days and a qualifying expedition.

Gold Duke of Edinburgh Residential

Experience our Gold Duke of Edinburgh residentials with great opportunities to gain a qualification and new skills!

The 5 day residential trip would offer the participants the chance to take part in activities such as raft building, climbing and low ropes as well as gaining a first aid qualification and a personal sailing award.
The chance to enjoy your residential and make new friends all whilst in an area of outstanding natural beauty and scientific interest.
