Previous cohort:

After one year, Tom took a post with Camp America, Kian enrolled at the University of Portsmouth to study Marine Biology. “This apprenticeship has opened up so many doors for me and given me the chance I never thought I would get.”

Owen Backshall, Apprenticeship and Training Co-ordinator added “This achievement is remarkable for a young person who once doubted his future”.

Funding for 2025/2026 has secured two new apprentices (1 female, 1 male), continuing to provide life-changing opportunities and building a pipeline of skilled, motivated outdoor education professionals.
