Cobnor Activities Centre has been chosen to receive a share of £1000 as part of Chichester’s Waitrose Community Matters project for the month of June.

Each month Waitrose in Chichester donates a total of £1000, shared between three good causes in the local area. However, the proportion of the £1000 that we receive depends on the number of “votes” that we get by way of tokens in our box.

When you shop at Waitrose, you’ll receive a token at the checkout. The idea is that you place your token in the box of the cause that you’d most like to support; the more tokens that a cause gets, the bigger the donation that they’ll receive. You can find out more about Community Matters here.

Donations from initiatives such as this allow us at Cobnor Activities Centre to keep ourresidential facilities and outdoor activities equipment, from our sailing fleet to buoyancy aids, in excellent condition so that we can continue to offer you the quality of services that you deserve.

So, when you fill your basket at Waitrose this June, please remember to support your favourite West Sussex activity centre and pop your token in our box! Thank you.
