Here at Cobnor Activities Centre Trust (CACT) we understand these are uncertain times and booking a course or adventure holiday for you and the family is a huge commitment. To ensure that you feel reassured before making any financial commitment to any CACT Product* during 2021, we are pleased to offer you a Covid booking promise on any Product* or experience booked for 2021.
Our booking promise will apply only if you, your group or an individual member of your group is prevented from attending a booked Product or experience because of:
- A national or local lockdown in your locality or that of The CACT Centre; or
- Self-isolation, as recommended by government guidance, where you or any member of the group booked is symptomatic, is diagnosed, or if you or any member concerned is required to self-isolate by track and trace; and
- In either case the period of lockdown or self-isolation covers all or any part of the period of your booking.
We promise that:
- If a national or local lockdown is in effect for either you, any member of the group booked or the Centre, we will first work with you to move your booking to an alternative date that year (at no extra cost); or
- If a change of date is not a viable option, then we will offer a full credit note to the value of your booking to be used within 12 months of the booked Product or experience. This can be used for any other Product[MC1] * or experience as advertised via our web site as per our terms and conditions. (at no extra cost)
- If we are not able to arrive at a suitable alternative arrangement, then we will refund all monies paid for your booked Product or experience.
If you cancel for a reason covered by our COVID promise, we require from you (at least one of the below):
- Information from the NHS Covid-19 app showing that you or the member of the group concerned has been requested to self-isolate during all or any part of the period of your booking
- Information regarding local or national lockdown which has affected you or the member of the group concerned during all or any part of the period of your booking
- A doctor’s letter confirming that you or the member of the group concerned has Covid-19 or is required to self-isolate during all or any part of the period of your booking
- Evidence of a positive Covid-19 test result which shows that your cancellation is covered by our Covid booking promise
Cobnor Activities Centre Trust continuously monitors both central UK government guidance and sporting guidance, and the Centre has full and up to date Covid-19 risk assessments and procedures which are reviewed regularly to reflect the current time, situation, and environment.
