Ready for something exciting and different?
Our Outdoor Activity Instructor (Level 3) Apprenticeship is a fantastic way to embark on a new, exciting and rewarding career. During your apprenticeship at Cobnor Activities Centre Trust (Cobnor), you will gain invaluable skills and qualifications along the way, all whilst having fun.
Begin your journey as an aspiring outdoor instructor here at Cobnor. Our next apprenticeship opportunity will begin 6 January 2025 and will run up until February 2026 with a possibility of a fixed term contract at Cobnor. We deliver our apprenticeship programme alongside Locomotivation; a designated training provider who organise and run the academic side of things. You can expect to be part of a fun, enjoyable and heavily experienced staff team, who will aspire to provide you with great professional experience and a solid foundation to propel you into the outdoor industry.

During the 13-month course period, you will be on a 40-hour week contract (5 days a week, 8 hours a day based on a rolling rota) and will earn the national apprenticeship wage. After a successful 12 months, apprentices will see their salary rise to the national minimum wage (within age bracket). Any additional hours will be paid based on your basic hourly rate.
A day in the life of an apprentice can be pretty diverse and does not only involve the delivery and running of sessions.
