At Cobnor Activities Centre Trust, volunteering plays a pivotal role in realising our mission. As a volunteer, you will contribute o the overarching ethos of CACT, which is to provide young people with invaluable learning experiences. Typical volunteer roles could include

  • Adventure Instructors and Supporters: Whether you’re a seasoned sailor, paddler, or outdoor enthusiast with a knack for leading, join us in delivering thrilling outdoor experiences! Your passion and expertise can inspire and guide others in activities like camping, climbing, cycling, campcraft.
  • Supporting People with Diverse Needs: Work alongside our staff to empower individuals with learning and physical disabilities. Contribute your compassion and support during our activities and holiday programmes.
  • Reception and Administration Champions: Dive into the heart of our operations! Assist with phones, bookings, activity information and even support our accounts and finance departments.

  • Maintenance Maestros: Help keep our centre in top shape! From cleaning and painting to DIY projects, your hands-on skills ensure our equipment, buildings and grounds remain vibrant. Specialised marine skills are also welcome to maintain our fleet of dinghies and rescue boats.
