Are you ready to ignite your child's passion for the high seas? Look no further than our captivating RYA Powerboat Level 1 course designed specifically for young sailors aged 8 and above!
Get ready for a full day of excitement from 09:30 to 16:30 as your little captains embark on a journey of discovery and mastery of the waves.
This one day courses provides a practical introduction to powerboating. This course is aimed at children - those who are 12 years old or above may prefer the RYA Powerboat Level 2 (No prior experience required).
By the end of this one day course, your young powerboat driver will receive a level 1 certificate, which allows them drive a powerboat under the supervision of a competent adult.
Please bring with you;
- Lunch and drinks
- A passport photo for your certificate on the completion of this course
- Layers of clothing that you don't mind getting a bit damp from rain or sea spray, a wind proof top and waterproof trousers and old trainers and a full change of clothes after as you might get wet!
You should wear:
- Spare old trainers, or similar, to get wet (not crocs, flip flops or open toe sandals)
- Fleece or jumper
- Long trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (not jeans)
- Personal watersports kit, if desired
