Activities for disabled people

Cobnor Activities Centre Trust is an all-inclusive centre, which aims to support anybody wishing to broaden their environment through outdoor activities, regardless of disability. It is an RYA approved Sailability centre that aims to give people with a disability the chance to experience sailing and to sail regularly. It also holds the British Canoeing Paddle-Ability accreditation - Paddle-Ability | Find Paddle-Ability clubs and centres near you (

As well as sailing and paddling, we are able to offer archery (outdoor and indoor) and paddling for young people with disabilities. Wheelchair users can also enjoy our beautiful surroundings as there is an accessible coastal path to Cobnor Point.

The staff at Cobnor work with outside organisations to facilitate the specific needs. We urge you to come and visit the Centre to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Throughout the year we also run four residential weekends (March, June, October and November) and a week-long summer camp called 'Opportunity Knocks', for people with physical and learning difficulties aged 18 and over. Cobnor Activities Centre Trust does not provide any nursing or personal care services. Individual participants will be able to complete daily tasks independently, with some support provided by our staff and volunteers.
