Senior Activities Instructor - Full time, 12 month fixed term contract 

We wish to recruit one Senior Activities Instructor on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract from 1st February 2019 (or soon as possible).

Salary range: £16,500 - 19,000 per annum 40 hours per week including some evenings and weekends.

Cobnor Activities Centre Trust is an independent charity and licensed provider of adventure activities that works to enhance life experiences for young people by providing high quality outdoor experiences.

The job purpose is to coordinate and supervise the activity staff in the daily running of all activities and educational programmes. Delegating tasks where appropriate, assisting the Head of Centre to ensure that activity sessions are delivered safely and to a high and professional standard, reflecting the Trust’s mission and purpose.

Applicants must hold a range of NGB qualifications to include 1 of the following and at least two seasons’ subsequent experience:

  • RYA Senior Instructor or experienced Dinghy Instructor able to achieve RYA Senior Instructor
  • British Canoeing  Kayak/Canoe Level 2 Coach or equivalent
  • Power Boat Instructor

The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Additional qualifications and experience in Mountain Biking, Low Ropes, and team challenge activities are beneficial.
