Sailing for adults

People of all ages can learn to sail at Cobnor. Whether you are a complete beginner, or you wish to update your previous sailing skills, as you are feeling a bit rusty -  there is something for everyone.

Either book on one of our scheduled brochure courses, or call us for 1:1 private tuition in our fleet of Hartleys, Wayfarers, RS Qubas, or RS Fevas. You can attain qualifications following the RYA National Sailing Levels, or simply get out on the water and enjoy the beauty of Chichester Harbour.

Adults on the water

Designed to encourage adults to get out and about on the waters of Chichester Harbour during term time mornings, these informal sessions are specially designed to provide an active, fun and supportive environment, for adults of all sailing abilities.

At Cobnor we follow the RYA Syllabus for all our Adult Sailing Courses. We pride ourselves in providing an extremely high standard of tuition.

“We were both amazed and impressed by the competence and maturity of the instructors, especially given their age. For the young and the old learners they were inspirational.”Monica MacKinnon, Sailing Course sponsored by Sport England, July 2012.
